¿Que hacer si te roban el móvil? CASO REAL
Hoy os vamos a contar un caso de robo que paso a un compañero de comunidad de Twitter ( Luis Herreras @yuiso), el caso nos lo quiere contar totalmente detallado para que sepamos que hacer en estos casos y nosotros vamos a recopilar estos datos en una sola entrada.
Todo comienza el dia 1 de Enero, cuando nuestro compañero se encuentra en el metro. Aproximadamente entre las 8:30 – 9:00am, me robaron mi iPhone quitándomelo del abrigo sin darme cuenta.
No me di cuenta hasta que no salí del metro, por lo que no tengo ni idea de quién fue la persona que me lo robó. En cuanto noté que no lo tenía, me fui corriendo a casa para encender el ordenador y activar el «Modo Perdido» del iPhone a través de http://iCloud.com
Lo primero que hacen los ladrones es apagar el iPhone. De esta forma, cuando entres en tu cuenta de iCloud para activar el modo perdido, no puedas localizarle. Activa cuanto antes el «Modo Perdido» y marca la casilla “Notificarme cuando se encuentre”.
Activa el borrado de tu iPhone. Esto hace que se borre el contenido, pero no lo elimines de tu cuenta. Seguirán necesitando tu ID y contraseña de iCloud para que deje de ser un pisapapeles. También puedes optar por no borrarlo, ya que ni el FBI puede acceder sin saber tus datos.
En mi caso, entré en iCloud y mi iPhone ya estaba apagado. Activé el modo perdido con un mensaje y un número de contacto que aparecerá en la pantalla cuando lo enciendan de nuevo. Después, llamé inmediatamente a VODAFONE para que bloqueasen mi tarjeta SIM.
El siguiente paso de mi apasionante primer día de 2018, fue ir a la comisaría de policia a denunciar el robo de mi iPhone. Para mi asombro, ahi estaba yo junto con otras 3 personas que también venían a denunciar el robo de sus smartphones. Cruce de miradas, dolor compartido.
Para denunciar lo más importante es que llevéis el número IMEI del iPhone (es el DNI del dispositivo). Lo encontraréis en la parte posterior de la caja. Recomendación, siempre guardad las cajas de vuestros iPhones. Aparte de que son bonitas, os sirven para saber este número.
Al día siguiente, me acerqué a una tienda física de VODAFONE para pedir un duplicado de mi tarjeta SIM y para solicitar el bloqueo por IMEI de mi iPhone. Hay que enviarles un email adjuntando la fotocopia del DNI del titular de la línea y la denuncia de la policía.
Con este bloqueo según me contaron los chicos de VODAFONE, se bloquea el iPhone y no se puede volver a utilizar como teléfono. No vuelve a funcionar con ninguna otra tarjeta SIM. El trámite es bastante rápido, en menos de 24 horas está bloqueado y te avisan por email.
Estos son todos los pasos que hay que hacer si te roban el iPhone. La policia me comentó que es muy difícil localizarlo, a no ser de que alguien lo venda y que el comprador denuncie que no funciona porque se trata de un iPhone robado. Pero aquí no termina la historia…
Hace 2 días me llegó un aviso de Apple vía email, que decía que mi iPhone había sido encontrado. Lo habían encendido, por lo que se había activado el Modo Perdido. ¿Cuál fue mi sorpresa? Que no estaba en Madrid, había aparecido bastante lejos… En MARRUECOS 
Como ya os he comentando en el hilo, la seguridad de los iPhones es tan alta que ni el FBI puede desbloquearlos. Por lo que a los ladrones no les queda otra opción que intentar ponerse en contacto contigo.
Ayer mismo, me mandaron 4 SMS al número que había dejado de contacto en el mensaje del Modo Perdido. Se hicieron pasar por Apple y me decían que mi iPhone iba a ser mandado a la tienda más cercana de mi. Aquí lo tenéis, un claro ejemplo de #phising.
¿Qué es el
#phising? Es método utilizado por delincuentes cibernéticos para obtener información confidencial, como por ejemplo, la de tu contraseña de iCloud. Para ello te contactan para que introduzcas tus datos en una web falsa que es muy parecida a la original de Apple.
En mi caso, el link que me ponían en el SMS redirigía a una web con una url diferente a la de Apple pero que estaba copiada al milímetro.
¡ATENCIÓN! 
La ignorancia en estos casos es muy importante. Bajo ningún concepto APPLE os va a contactar por ningún medio (Email, SMS…) para deciros que os mandan vuestro iPhone y que tenéis que entrar en alguna web con vuestras credenciales. ¡NO DEIS VUESTROS DATOS!
Seguramente no vaya a recuperar nunca mi iPhone 
Pero tampoco quiero que lo puedan utilizar. Así que la única posibilidad que tienen los ladrones es la de venderlo por piezas.
